Christianity is all about love. When we care for the
poor, the sick, the lonely, the lost, and one another,
we reflect God’s heart.
Community Care
Ministry is an international ministry of The Salvation
Army, and is made up of people of all ages.
Here on Guam we strive
to engage our congregation, in partnership with
community volunteers, in works of service to our
community in various venues such as hospital visitation,
prison ministry, older adult ministry and visits to
special needs group homes.
The main objective of
our Community Care Ministry is to respond to the
spiritual and social needs of our community.
Because of the
ever-changing social environment, our ministry is
dynamic and adapts according to the local situation and
the size and skill of our membership.
Our primary aim is to
follow Christ’s injunction,
‘Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of
these my brethren, ye have done it unto me’
(Matthew 25:40, AV).
