youth are tomorrow's greatest resource

In a world where innocence is stripped away at earlier ages, growing up is harder than ever.  Young people must navigate complicated situations and resolve dilemmas largely unknown in former generations.

The Salvation Army understands that, in spite of the hazards of the day, a happy childhood is still one of the best gifts to share with succeeding generations.  The organization helps parents and children make the early years a time of safety, learning and preparation for life.

Whether a young person is just starting first grade or finishing their last year of college, The Salvation Army offers opportunities for them to grow in Christ, expand their worldview, volunteer their time, meet people, gain confidence and discover how they can impact the world.

Programs Offered

Troops:  Similar in nature to other Scouting Programs, Troops bring a spiritual foundation to the scouting activities.

Corps Cadets:  This is a Christian Youth Leadership training program.  It give young teens the opportunity to grow as leaders with a Biblically based leadership model.

Music School:  Our music programs allow young people from age 10 and up to experience the wonderful gift of music.  Music programs have always been an important aspect of Salvation Army life and here on Guam we want to make the same opportunities available to those who might not otherwise have an opportunity to learn to play an instrument or participate in a drama or vocal program.  We offer classes in Drama, Choir, Music Theory, Band, Guitar and Ukulele.
